50 Series Partner Cards Showcase

Even running the new Indiana jones game maxed out at 200+ FPS it’s still sat at 39c and the CPU (9800x3d) at 46c

It’s definitely the coolest running GPU I have ever owned.
That is incredible, am super envious!.... she's a keeper for sure! Maybe they shipped it with some extra ice packs inside :)

Glad there is a Waterforce WB this time around.

Always seems sketch with maintaining warranty putting your own block on.

I’m going to go for whatever has the most stock. If it’s a good looking card bonus, if it has twelve dragons and a waifu on it, well, uh, so be it.

Nah, not worth putting yourself on a ‘list’ for those gaming gains :p

Dragons though… might put you onto a mega elite gamerz list!

100% - last one I fitted cost me a new gpu
Could not agree more. My 3080ti has screaming coils and I can't do anything about it as I put a waterblock on before testing it. Won't make that mistake again. I'm almost to scared to look at the price of the waterforce when it drops. Back in the day I convinced myself I needed a 2000 series waterforce and there was a definite premium to be paid.

I'm hoping to reaplace my 2080 Waterforce WB with the 5090 version. Same thinking regarding price although I suspect availability will be the bigger barrier. None of the other big 3rd parites seem to release water blocked cards.

Haha maybe I won’t bother with this gen since this card is only two months old haha

It’s weird cause my old GPU (1080ti) would hit 80c and that was under water lol

I just assumed that GPUs had advanced a lot in terms of temperatures and this was normal these days

Just noticed the Aorus Master comes with a 4th fan you can slap on the back :D

Linus video with every launch day GPU at CES (Just in case they look better/worse in real life).

For anyone that hasn’t watched these vids, the ASUS ROG Strix is now completely unlike the 40 series ‘tank version’ and is now plasticy.

If you want a chonky and heavy ASUS thicc-boi, you need to get the Astral… or a TUF.

The TUF actually look really nice this year, but a solid grey card would stand out too much in my build (Black NV9).

The Prime is really neat but they are not doing that in the 90/80 class.

I'm not sure about the Astral. Love the side bar but I think overall I preferred last years. I mean it just looks so different, almost speaking to a different audience. I wonder if Asus took Nvidia's "not for gamers" PR literally when designing it lol.

They don't even do a xx80/xx90 class Strix anymore. It's only for their 5070ti and below. Astral is xx80/xx90

The Astral is nice but it's 100% going to be too expensive for me to bother considering.
