Sat here with only the cpu and gpu to buy... I hope it's not going to be a repeat of the 3080 mess...

Sorry should have specified... when can I preorder one... I actually want it on the 5th or as early as possible. Dad's birthday is the 11th Nov and wasn't expecting the launch to be a late as Nov when rumour indicated 20th Oct. painfully close.

Where you update the motherboard bios.
Some boards allow no cpu flash, others (most?) require a cpu in place.
