5th May UK regional elections discussion and results

Wasting your vote then :D

Not quite. The SNP were always destined to win this election. But they were a bit blazé about it, not really pushing, and just expected a majority again. Thank the lord (if such an entity exists) they didn't get it.

Labour in 3rd place North of the Wall and Wee Jimmy Krankie's SNP have failed to secure a majority in Holyrood.

Delicious!

Woo Hoo

I'm quite pleased with the outcome!

Yes, couldn't have hoped for better really. No SNP majority, and Tories in second place. Sounds like a distinct lack of indyref2 mandate to me. Maybe we can move on from 2014 and actually start dealing with proper issues.

Hang on.... isn't Goldsmith winning this by quite some margin?

It's hard to say what's up with the BBC site but I assume that they're only taking into account constituencies that have completed their vote counting. So far, only the outer London constituency of Bexley & Bromley has completed their vote count.

The London Elects page has Khan winning by the largest margin since the first London mayoral election.

Surely Goldsmith has won this? 50% to win and over 51%? But it then says Khan is set to win?
