6 Year old boy thrown 5 floors from Tate Modern Museum in London by 17 year old boy

Makes me feel a little ashamed of my country when this sort of stuff happens. Nice family come over for a holiday and have to suffer this from a resident nutter. Absolutely horrible.

Have they given any details on the attacker?

Boy is supppsed to not be in a life threatening situation which is pretty awesome considering the height he was thrown from.

Why? We don't know anything about the guy that did it.

No, which seems a bit weird as they are asking if anyone saw someone. "whose behaviour seemed out of place, suspicious or worrying, in the hour or two before the incident in or near the gallery". Surely a description would help.

We apparently know enough to sterilise his low-IQ, poverty-stricken, divorced parents.

I do wonder how many stupid, uneducated, poor youths choose to spend time at the Tate.

How many highly educated, intelligent and rich kids attempt to throw young children to their deaths?

Like, every other serial killer in history.

(ok, exaggeration. But serial killers tend towards above average intellect)

Serial killers tend not to commit their crimes in the middle of the most visited attraction in the country.

No, that's why they become serial killers, rather than one-off. But bog standard psychopaths often do.

And dumb people do it where they're likely to get caught.
Smart people do it where they're more likely to go undiscovered.

It's good to hear that he is no longer in a life threatening situation - I think kids are made of rubber and magic at that age and are quite resilient - nonetheless, it shouldn't have happened in the first place :(

Detectives said they had not been able to establish a motive for the "truly shocking" incident, but eyewitnesses at the scene, claimed the suspect had shouted that social services were to blame for his actions.

Certainly adds a new dimension to it. And going by the actions, or in-actions, of social services in this country recently I wouldn't be surprised if this guy is one of the violent nutters that people have given them countless warnings about but who social services deem fit to walk the streets.
