£600 amd build

Hi guys. Im after a gaming pc possibly based around the fx 6300. I know all about intel whooping amds harris' but i dont think i can stretch the i5 3570 nor do i want a dual core i3 so thought meet in the middle at a fair pricepoint. I was after mitx build but am3+ itx boards seem far and few between. I'll settle for matx if possible or a small midi case, i have a lady to please so nothing to big or nasty sitting in the front room apart from myself ofc

Its a gaming build that needs to be able to handle bf3 on highest settings. I wish also to overclock it.
Dont need OS or peripherals just the pc.

There's no mATX boards for the 990 boards unfortunately, looks like you'll have to go with Intel

Oohh buts its dual core

(( hehe just wondering how itll do online on bf3. I like the build dont get me wrong but i heard that not many games make good use of its 'invisible' extra virtual cores. Maybe spec a z mobo for future i5 upgrade for oc? Definatly a no go with the fx6300 then?

There just so happens to be a Z77 itx option - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-417-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2071

Again it has built-in WiFi+WiDi, being such a small board with small VRM components it lacks Vcore adjustment in the UEFI (which you normally expect on a Z77 board) so a "K" CPU such as a i5 3570K will see you around the 4-4.2GHz range.

An i3 isnt so bad.

Why intel guys? I don't see why people love it so much, in my opinion intel is just overpriced, much like apple. Amd has more powerful physical cores, and much cheaper?

The MSI motherboard isn't voltage locked so will allow OP to overclock and adjust voltage when he upgrades to a Intel i5 or i7 later on, since the motherboard costs more than the one you picked, I've dropped down to a HD 7850

No they don't.
The FX6100 is a poor CPU with core for core performance that pre-dates Intels 2008 Q4 line up.
AMD still can't match the IPC.
