60oz Steak challenge.

Too late now, but I've done a couple of small (home-made) challenges and you can help yourself a lot with preparation. You can help expand your stomach by chugging down water (you'll have to drink a LOT more than you can cope before getting water poisoning) at intervals during the few days beforehand, which would help expand your stomach. Alternatively you can eat lots of boiled cabbage (as it releases gas while digesting) but I don't recommend this unless you absolutely love cabbage.

Now, on the day (today), some people might say don't eat anything at all during the day. If the challenge is at night, bad move. Your stomach will shrink and you'll get full within 5 minutes (think how when you haven't eaten in so long and your starving, prepare loads of food and then within a few bites not hungry anymore? Same thing happening). Eat what you need, but not more. Chug water at a few hourly intervals, e.g. 2L now within a couple of minutes, 2L in a few hours same thing. Not spread over more than a few minutes. The good thing about this method is that because it's water, it passes straight through you. Make sure you have quick access to a toilet :p
Don't chug within a few hours of the challenge. Drink what you need to keep you afloat during the comp.

Good luck!

Fixed. 72oz steak in 6:48 - showing you how it's done.

gotta say that guy Adam on Man vs Food has conquered some eating feats though lol. i do remember some Steaks being there too...think it was doing it in portions of like 4/8 or something like this and not filling up on other foods beforehand

Think the biggest steak i finished was around a 22oz rib eye back in Canada a few yrs ago. Me and my brother went to the local halaal butchers near where he lives and put a special order in for the steaks.

I finished most of it but i suffered for a few days afterwards, dont think i could even contemplate eating a 60 oz steak let alone a 22oz one.
