650D my first WC build

I just used the screws that came with the res, I had to drill the holes and the case was tougher then I thought, it blunt about 3 drill bits.

I'll make sure I have some tough drill bits for mine, quite a thick case.

CM Storm Trooper - Will be drilling either the back of the case similar to yours or by the grommets next to the motherboard.

Very nice and clean looking, makes me tempted to get another 650D! Must say I like the pump at the angle as it gives it that "3D effect".

How much room do you have at the back of the motherboard tray with your PSU cables btw? Does the panel bulge etc?

Thanks, yeah the panel does bulge a little in the middle but not too bad.

I have added the new 200mm Phobya V2 rad to the front a few days ago, so will get some pics up soon.

Thanks I have ordered some 45 and 90 degree rotarys to sort some of the bends. Also going to remove a hard drive and mount the remaining one with the SSD's in the 5.25 bays, then go from the res straight to the pump on the bottom then to the 200mm rad, I can then move the drain line inbetween pump/rad.

I will probably upgrade next month for a 4770k and a ROG board, so will change fluid to red to match it. Will do it all at the same time and then post some pics, including how to mount the 200mm V2 rad without ANY modding.

Bit of an update,

Changed the motherboard as I could not get on with the Gigabyte board any longer, also changed fluid to match the red on the board. I didn't like the red with the chrome fittings at first but it has grown on me a bit more and also plan on changing the fluid eventually to the new one Mayhems is working on. Also moved the drain, removed hdd cage and added the new XSPC fittings.

Nice, I plan on going WC at the end of the year and also have the 650d so this has given me a good idea of how to position everything. Have you moved your HDDs into the top bay now?

Yeah I have two SSD's and one 3.5 all mounted in the 5.25 bays.

Thanks, but need to make some updates. I switched the pastel red with Mayhems UV bloodred. Also upgraded to a 3770K currently running 4.8ghz plus switched boards to a Sabertooth Z77 and added Samsung green ram.

Thanks, might take some pics tonight if I get time. Looks nicer with the Sabertooth board as well.
