This got me too. The main sections are expandable now, just click on the arrow;I can't find the wattage anywhere on GPU side.
I only use it when setting up a game and initial testing. If I need to log then I use HW Monitor and look at the max temps after a game. I have no idea if HWM uses any resources. Either way I can play starfield on 1080l and hopefully high settings and all my other games are now maxed out, super happy!I don't use the AMD Overlay anyhow, it takes about 2/3% of gpu away! I use AB instead.
I think my Red Devil was usually only 10c higher in gaming for the most part, but some games could push that up to 20c higher. Is having a 20 degree hotspot over GPU temp normal on the Sapphire Pulse?
I think it's due to my case, a Silverstone TJ08Be.
Thank you. Think I should try a new case. The Deepcool CH370 looks like it's GPU air cooled focus. If that works then I can get my clock speed back up.I think my Red Devil was usually only 10c higher in gaming for the most part, but some games could push that up to 20c higher.
Oh yeah, just looked at the Silverstone, not much airflow there!Thank you. Think I should try a new case. The Deepcool CH370 looks like it's GPU air cooled focus. If that works then I can get my clock speed back up.
I wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. What are the temperatures? Is having a 20 degree hotspot over GPU temp normal on the Sapphire Pulse?

With it undervolted to 1135mv and core clock 2400 I'm hitting 100 hot spot and mid 80s core temp.I wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. What are the temperatures?
Ok will have a look for some lunchtime readinghotspot is the temp overall of the card not a actual hotspot, or so a site i read said. Wouldnt worry about it, mine was like 90-95 when playing jedi survivor but normal gpu temp was 70 i think.
At the time I'm playing starfield at 1080p high. I had the adaptive refresh rate enabled in AMD control centre but that is now disabled and I game vsync is on. I will try to look more into the temperature spikes tonight in different areas and see where the card heats up the most.I have read some cards like sapphire nitro ones can be a bit high hitting 110, i also remember hearing some cards had poor paste applications or something.
What are you doing at the time when its hitting 110? Does the throttling affect gaming as in smoothness, not paying notice to any fps drop? Does vsync or capping fps help keep it from getting too high on the hotspot?
I'm getting a new case as mine is from pre 2012 and I fancied something new.Tried 1100mv or 1125 underclock yet? Might be doable. Could be sf is taxing the system more as new game im not sure. Limiting the fps down 5 or 10fps might help not push it as much and prevent throttling? A repaste on vram and gpu core might help knock the hotspot down but that will be up to you if u wana try. New case if mid tower might help but bit extreme to change for heat reasons imo as a lot of work but again up to u to decide that. I hope u can find a way without needing to do anything too involving. G luck.
I did see a reddit post saying on planet with lots of grass and trees bumped the gpu temps high, maybe u can try a optimization guide to be not as demanding at them places perhaps?
