This card is different, if I set an overclock in the amd software like I have a thousand times before the driver hangs.

I have no idea where this card should clock at... Yet, and it's going to be a lot slower to find out with clowns chatting sxxt instead of giving helpful suggestions

All the help you need is in the owners thread, plenty of info in there about overclocking if you can be bothered to find it. Parp Parp.

From what's I've seen and experienced, most should do 2660-2760 as a daily, latest drivers have drastically reduced my overclocks, but before that I was able to get 2760-2780 in stuff like 3dmark etc.

As to settings, mine are

2660min - 2760max
Memory 2124 - fast timings

Powerlimit %15

MPT

420w
450TDP
Soc 60
Voltage 1200

Overclocking a graphics card is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman.

Take it slow and steady, do not rush. Start with the basics and work your way up, slowly, until you get to the point of no return.
Once this point is reached, back off a little and think of Eastenders.

If further clarification is needed, let me know. :p

Thank you, that's all I needed, a rough ball park of where this card performs for others. Nice to see someone being helpful, much appreciated.

Starting somewhere around 2600-2700 min/max is a good place to start as suggested above. Increase in 25Mhz increments until you crash. The power limits suggested above are good too. In short, @uksoldierboy nailed it too. :)

Copied that exactly, couldn't pass a time spy with it, might just be the latest drivers like you said. But thank you again, as it will be great for gaming I'm sure

Double post, glad to see you got through, time spy is weird with latest drivers, but port royal is fine, again, 2680-2780 is absolutely solid in all the games I play, just t3dmark requires lower clocks.
