"Actually, chocolate milk – or any flavored milk for that matter – is white cow’s milk with added flavoring and sweeteners".

So milk can never come from a brown cow? Thats racist.

I thought all milk was white? I've never seen milk that isn't white so I'm guessing they're referring to the colour of the cow.

Appearance
Both the fat globules and the smaller casein micelles, which are just large enough to deflect light, contribute to the opaque white color of milk. The fat globules contain some yellow-orange carotene, enough in some breeds (such as Guernsey and Jersey cattle) to impart a golden or "creamy" hue to a glass of milk. The riboflavin in the whey portion of milk has a greenish color, which sometimes can be discerned in skimmed milk or whey products.[19] Fat-free skimmed milk has only the casein micelles to scatter light, and they tend to scatter shorter-wavelength blue light more than they do red, giving skimmed milk a bluish tint.[79]

Hmmm guess you learn something enw every day. Will this be how the colour argument of full fat/semi/skimmed milk tops will finally be decided?

so u have never seen chocolate milk before??? that aint white

Yeah but the milk is still white. It's the chocolate that's brown.

There's no such thing as "chocolate milk". It's technically "chocolate IN milk". It's still white milk with chocolate suspended in it. The milk is still white and the chocolate is still brown. I don't believe any reaction takes place.
