Hi there, thot I would post my results on the following benchmark test I did for my own comparison. Have not got round to testing SLI as yet as checking each new card on its own to make sure no problems, but will add SLI results in very near future. I ran 7 different benchmarks, all of which have either an in built benchmark tool or are benchmark tools in themselves. The following were tested:
Heaven 4
3DMark (Fire Strike Extreme)
Arkham Origins
Hitman Absolution
Sleeping Dogs
Sniper Elite V2
Tomb Raider
I used default settings in both CCC and Nvidia Control Panel and I ran both set-ups at their stock clocks. 925 core 1375 memory on the 7970's and 980 core (1046 boost) 1750 on the 780Ti. I wont post the screenshot comparisons unless requested. Please note, the 7970's were water cooled and the 780Ti is using a Twin Frozr IV cooler with default fan profile so I wont be comparing acoustics or temps. Thought these results may be of interest to anyone contemplating making a similar switch.
My CPU is a 4770K @4.4Ghz. Was using 14.6 betas on 7970's and 337.88's on Ti. All other components were the same. The setting used are the same settings used in the respective benchmark comparisons, which I will link to. All test carried out at 1080p.
