I've now installed the back plate , should this be slightly loose and be able to move
Yeah its normally loose until you screw in the front part then it should be a really tight grip on the motherboard

Got mine and it looks like I got lucky.
Each fan was individually wrapped with a generous portion of bubble wrap as was the radiator. Everything else also had some bubble wrapping, backed up with those air bag thingy's cushioning the sides.
Three bags of haribo too
Got mine today as well however get the following!
I keep getting "Overclocking Failed!" at the bios screen.
anyone else had this?
Ensure everything is entered as per 8 Packs specs - However also check your RAM settings are inline with the manufacturers recommendations.
Using one of the profiles (the most extreme one) it works fine with the Turbo going to 4.8
Just having trouble with the settings on the 8 Pack guide.
Are you selecting the XMP profile option for the memory?
Cool! Can you tell me how you mounted the cooler? Is it at the top or front? Wouldn't it be better at the front as the side vents at the front are not filtered?
my rads a bit damaged also, plus they sent me out a intel 1150 mounting kit, is it ok to use it ?
Sorry for the late reply.
Mounted at the top...hose facing the back of the case with fans in push configuration, it looked a tight fit (with the tall Geil memory in the original bundle) but you'll be fine.
The bracket makes it a breeze!
Edit..mine was the glass version and the front air takes are filtered on those.
