** 8 PACK BUNDLE: 6700K OC, AIO, ASUS HERO, 16GB 3000MHz & MORE FOR £499.99 (£270 SAVING) **

Tried entering settings from 8packs guide. As tbh I have no idea what I'm doing. Board will now not post just getting a blank screen and a w code of 76.

Have tried clearing cmos and taking the battery out but still the same.

Received my delivery at around 11:45 this morning. DPD parcel tracking on their app is great. Everything neatly bubble wrapped/boxed, and extra air pockets filling up the box. Good times.

I haven't started installation yet, as my Windows 10 needed to be updated in order to make use of the easier self-activation method (post hardware change) that they brought in with the anniversary edition.

Hope everyone has a great Hogmanay what ever you're up to.

I don't know why you would want to turn it off..? It saves power and lets the CPU run cooler and with lower volts when the full power isn't required, then when you do something intensive, it immediately switches to your defined overclocked speed.

Anyway, Intel Speed Step is what you are thinking of I presume. There will be an option to disable it in the BIOS.

Fitted and all up and running..
The only negative thing I could say is that the fans provided the connectors as so damn short you cannot get them plugged into the motherboard if the Cooler top mounted and the fans above it, Maybe of put a recommendation of the extensions that may be needed due to such short cables.

Luckily I had some other good fans that I am using and its running a dream :)

Damage to my radiator too, it looks like it's been kicked around the warehouse... it's much worse that the above image. Not sure I can be bothered sending it back to the UK though.

On the bright side, it got here in 2 days!

That's true actually, might just leave it on then.

Wonder if it is the memory

with just XMP enabled, The overclock fails...

any suggestions? Could it be the Team Vulcan memory?

I have the same issue using the Vulcan, have to leave on AUTO to get PC to boot, if i select XMP as the screen shots i get "Overclock Failed" and error 55 on onboard LED which says Memory not installed in the manual.
Memory is running at 1066MHz 1:16 15-15-15-36 for now, will try 1 stick at a time as suggested earlier in thread. While waiting for a reply.
CPU is fine running at 4.5

Cheers

mine arrived a few min ago, rad fins are all smashed up, called up ocuk there sending out a new one but cant guarantee it wont also arrive in the same condition :(

Really struggling here guys. It's been a long time since I was into the overclocking so be gentle.

Can't get it to even post now. Gets to code 76, which I can't even get out of. Can't seem to reset bios.

I've used 8packs settings which are no good for me. I have the 16gb team group ram. Also got 2 of these bundles. But might have to settle on stock speeds.

Can we not get a bios profile to load into the bios.?

It isn't good regarding the rads, mine turned up really well packaged - I wonder if DPD have had some bad eggs hanging over from Christmas...

Clear CMOS and try lowering the clock speed until you find something stable.

I must be doing something really wrong. I cannot clear the cmos.

Don't mean to be rude and I know 8pack has posted the settings but I think I need a real noobs guide.

Have you tried the on-board button? On the bottom of the board, off the top of my head it's red. If that doesn't work try and remove the battery for 10minutes.

On board button seems to do nothing except turns the fancy red light off on the board.

Managed to clear the cmos now, ended up taking battery out, pressing and holding cmos button for several secs, both with power on and off, the removed ram and put it in a different slot.

Managed to get the cpu up to 4.5 but have had to leave the ram as is.

Untill i know what to change im going to leave the ram on auto.
