Ok i might have sorted my problem, maybe this can help you as well.
CPU at 4.5 with 1.3v in bios
Used all settings from 8Pack guide apart from didn't use XMP i have manually set to DDR4-3000 and left everything else for Ram to auto.
Also i noticed you are in slot 1 and maybe 3, i sure it says in the manual to use the grey slots 2/4 if running dual channel.(thats how i read it anyway)

If you cant get it to post or boot with XMP try upping the voltage for RAM to 1.4v thats what I had to do.

mine arrived a few min ago, rad fins are all smashed up, called up ocuk there sending out a new one but cant guarantee it wont also arrive in the same condition
Same thing with mine - maybe not the best packaging for flimsy fans imho

As long as the air is being exhausted out of the top of the case, there isn't much difference (if any) between the fans being on the bottom of the radiator (known as push) or the fans on top (known as pull).
Cheers, thats what i ended up doing, when i had set on auto is was at 1.5v so changed to 1.4v havnt had any issue as yet.
Might try XMP again just to see.

Not sure if I wanna try XMP till I can work out how to clear the cmos quickly. Don't wanna end up with blank screen and stuck at a code 76 again. Isn't the ram rated at 1.35v?
Can someone confirm what I should do. I've tried holding theclear cmos button both with the power on and off. When power is on the board reboots but back to 76 again.

Right almost finished. Waterpump I'm assuming going to the water pump connector on m/b? The two fans for the rad, can they be attached to the cpu_opt and cpu_fan connectors? Lastly I have a phanteks enthro pro I think, has a little hub for all the chassis fans with one main power that connects to the board, which connector am I best of using for that?
Yeah, the WP connector is the for the pump, and the two connectors to the right of it can be used for the radiator fans. I have the Enthoo Evolv and used the MB for all the fans but you can use the hub too.

Just got mine put together , everything came in post fine built it today in a cm stormtrooper case and stuck everything in and the gtx 980
loaded it up with my ssd all ok so far just doing some tests .
Ive not overclocked it to 8 pack settings yet just by the ez wizard
Will have a go at it tommorow .
The any thing that is baffleing me is the DDR 4 3000 MHZ RAM is only showing 2400mhz in bios ?

Well, got mine put together so i thought i'd share it.
Just need to overclock and move my SSD's over now
Looks good.
Those with memory issues try DRAM Voltage around 1.35 to 1,4 upto 1.45 is no issue 24-7
Also set IO voltage to 1.2 and SA to 1.2 report back.
Use the mem slot furthest from the CPU miss one slot then the next......
If need be you can also disable XMP and try 17-18-38 main timings at 3000mhz. I tested several of these kits without issue myself.

Yes fine.
I would make sure I connect the rad fans to CPU and CPU OPT headers and the pump to AIO Pump header though.

Those who are roof mounting I would set the fans on the inside pushing air through the rad. Not essential but works better with cable lengths and very slightly better performance too.
