Don't be miserable, this is fun :D Asus P5N 650 SLi so you can unlink the memory, and an Akasa Eclipse or a nice Lian-Li.

why not the DS3 though! Apparently thats better for overclocking?
I was looking at the lian-li pc-7 aswell :p

The memory stays linked, but it is a great board (Just ask Loadsamoney).

Okay, two boards, one is heads, one is tails.

Well the 2x GTS's will be faster than 1x GTX, but you could get 2x GTX's. :D

Id get the GTX cos its clearly quality and you can SLi later :)

Guys we all gonna post pics tomorro of our new GTS's? :D

Welcome to the E-Penis(okay not as big as a GTX owner :p) club :)

Yeah well having had a thought about my previous statement I am guessing that even a 320MB GTS is faster than 2x 256MB but it would be good to see the results anyway. The beauty of the x1950 Pro isn't really its crossfire performance (similar to how the main selling point of the GTS/GTX isn't DX10), the main selling point of the '256MB' x1950 Pro is its price, its the best card for the money 'near' the £100 price bracket (I paid £126 for mine) so at some point in the very near future it should be selling for slightly less (nearer the £100 mark).

With some price cuts on the e4300 coming up it may be possible to buy that cpu and a 256MB X1950Pro and still get change for £200! thats a beautiful thing.

Overclocked e4300 + X1950 Pro= very nice bang for buck gaming.

Looking forward to some user feedback from these latest 320MB GTS cards, I'm particularly interested at the noise level of the cooling.

Enjoy!

[edit] Can't forget to mention the rest of the nVidia range, seems the 7950GT is falling in price nicely!

Well I bet you are gagging to upgrade your x1800xt but still . . . you waited this long couldn't you wait a while longer for ATI to show what they have to offer? means you will be itching for a while longer but I'm sure at the very least you would save a few quid on the 320MB GTS? (I only see their price falling right?) if the ATI stuff doesn't tickle your fancy?

Really stupid question alert.

if I but a pre-clocked version of the card (say the BFG) does that mean that the card simply will not overclock anymore, say if I wanted to take it to 575 core instead of 550? Or does that mean that I could still get a bit more out of it? I am still trying to decide which version to go with.
