8800GT Ramblings Thread

Overall they are more expensive than i thought they would be. Guess that's why they have got rid of the 320mb GTS. I suppose the new 640mb GTS will be around £240 (or is that too similar to the current one?) when it comes out. What we need is a decent alternative from ATI to give Nvidia some competition.

LOL @ all the people moaning about price.

Why is the price high? Well lets think, 30+ pages of people dribbling on about how much they want one of these cards... that might have something to do with it don'tcha think?

edit - didn't this happen with the preorders on the 226BW as well. They were £230 to start with, then ended up at £250+. Agreed, supply and demand but at least have you price strategy sorted BEFORE you post it up - not adjust it on the fly!!!!

Id still prefer to buy from OcUK. Ive never ever had a problem with them, unlike other retailers i use where i have had 1 or 2 gone astray.
