In a strange way I'm almost relieved they arent the bargain price they should have been. Makes not buying one a bit easier

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
how are they? There is no such thing as a straight swap for better performance..If you are presented with a choice of a second hand GTS and a brand new GT, which one are you going to go for?
I would say both the GTS and GTX second hand prices would need to be at least 50% less than the current GT price if they are as good as what they say they are. Hardly a swap.
Not ground breaking.
Your missing the point
Have a look at the reviews and then look at the price vs performance.
Not if you sold to people that don't know about gfx cards. Its a fact some people on here sold for around about the same price as a new gt so they are not losing money to get a better card.

Pretty much a direct swap for my GTS 320, happy days.
this happens every time there's a new release. The second hand prices of a 7800 fell dramatically after the launch of the 7900. Within weeks, the card fell so far below the cost of a 7900, the difference in price wasn't worth the upgrade.

Taking in account listing fees, seller fees, paypal fees and postage I am left with 220quid for my GTX. Now the plan was to get 2xGT for 280 total cost to me 60 (i.e. much cheaper than buying another GTX in sli).
Well that plan has now gone to hell
Looks like I will be stealing my brothers 8800GTS for now then (he plays WoW so he wont miss it)

I have, I am not and you've not read my arguements.![]()
Thats why we all sold just before the release![]()
Waste of time arguing. It's their money and they can spend it as they like. People have made their minds up and nobody is going to change that.
Ouch I would be mega anoyed if I only got that much, hence why Im not even going to bother with these GT's
Shops will be commanding upwards of 150-180 for these cards now due to demand, considering you only got £220 that pretty much makes it pointless, for a saving of what 30 quid and no guarantee the card will cut it at high AA/AF/Resolutions
No thanks.
then going sli would have been a good move.

I've read quite a few pages of crap to get here and as far as I can see, nobody has seen this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/news.php![]()
Yes the performance is good. Unfortunately the price is not. Personally i would like to see some benchies with more than 4x AA enabled. I play with as much AA/AF as i can get away with.
