8800GT Stock?

Ah superb to see my pre-order on the 8th of November has been completely left by the wayside today after a considerable wait. Being assured it will be shipped today and that the guys are working overtime to ensure the order goes out, despite people in this thread having ordered the BFG OC2 on FRIDAY and having their orders shipped. I thought it would have been fairly logical to deal with those waiting the longest to have their orders dealt with first. Regardless it seems like I'll be waiting even longer with it coming up to 7pm and I wouldn't expect many people to be working this late, I just feel pretty shafted that the immediate orders that came in today have taken precedence, and treat the longest waiters like outcasts. I can't help but feel a little miffed and unfairly mugged off.

Thats poor m8, are you sure, it may have shipped?

Zotac's have just turned up, so no chance of those shipping tonight I am afraid but I shall make sure we get those all out tomorrow.

Glad to hear these have come in, I'm pretty sure my order is part of the initial shipment (40) you've had.

Well, i've got my graphics card coming, but my upgrade parts are still in warehouse queue, and i'd imagine they'll stay there till tomorrow. Oh well, just need to wait then and upgrade time on Wednesday!
 
If only I could say that were the case, my order has been "Order Status: In our warehouse queue" and that hasn't changed since the 8th November, not even a 'printed in warehouse'. I don't mean to come here and flame Gibbo or OcUK, I'm just being made to look stupid when I put full faith in the superb reputation OcUK has. If anyone else could give me an idea of when you pre-ordered and if you've got any shipping confirmation?

I've just received an email saying that my order has been shipped and my elation is undescribable, it seems the guys STILL are working this late to get these orders out. I've got some lovin' to give out. My account details on the OcUK website however still shows it to be in the warehouse queue but I'm holding onto the email as it seems to be more up-to-date information.

You've not been lied too.

I've found your order number from your forums name on our system and it turns out that one of the sales lads who changed your order from an EVGA to BFG made a mistake by not actually confirming the order and as such it was left on hold.

We've now looked into this and we've personally taken your order into the warehouse, packed it ourselves and put it on the van. Now its down to the van driver getting to the depot in time before the trunker arrives.

Also the MD of OcUK has left a message on your phone explaining and endeavouring we will do everything in our power to get the order to you for tomorrow. We can only apologise for the mistake that caused your order to be put on hold, but its now fixed and all been well your card will arrive tomorrow. The whole OcUK purchasing department, systems guys and MD are all here still packing orders at nearly 8pm tonight and considering we all started at 8am we really are trying our best here to provide only the best service. :)

Well what can I say...

You found my order from my forum name, personally packed it and put it on the van, and the managing director has left a message on my home phone (which I only just got because of my sister on the line at the time) apologizing and confirming my order will be with me tomorrow. And it's 8pm in the evening on a Monday. I don't think I could ever say a bad word against you guys for doing that, I really appreciate that effort you guys went to, to sort that out for me. Many thanks Gibbo and Rupert for the call/ information. Now I see how you guys have this outstanding reputation. Superb.
 
I placed my order for the BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC2 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail at about 1:30pm today. It said there were 3 in stock if I remember correctly. But so far, no email confirming it has been shipped and my account says its still in the warehouse queue :(
Its not gone 8pm, dont think i will be recieving it tomorow. But can somebody tell me if the order will be ariving Wednesday or did you sell out (or has the guy whos order was put on hold taken my place)?
I dont mind waiting, but I like to be able to know when my order is arriving as I will have to change my shift at work to be in to recieve the order.

Any info on this would be greatly apreciated from you boys at OCUK

I ordered my BFG OC2 at about 12.30pm, got my email at 3pm telling me it had been shipped and I will recieve it tomorrow.

mind you, I called them up personally and asked about stock levels, I then changed my order from an EVGA SC to the OC2

It's touch and go whether you made it before stock ran out since you did it via the website.

more stock is due to arrive Wednesday so don't worry

You really have to love OcUK when they go that one bit further for their customers! I mean can you imagine any competitors doing that? I certainly can't think of any!

Nicely done Gibbo and staff.. it's things like these that make you great and make me recommend you to others! :D
