He has been given the runaround by EVGA today with still no confirmation as to when the cards will be arriving, possibly some later this week but no information on what type, ie. Stock,SC,Crysis etc.

I have had one on order for a few weeks but changed it to a BFG OC2 today because I was sick of EVGA's false promises and slipping ETA's.

My BFG OC2 has already been shipped.

well the shaders are clocked higher on the OC2 than the EVGA SC so its a worthwhile change

i was tempted my EVGAs step-up but have seen in various places it is hardly worth doing

The shader clock speed is listed as 1500mhz, the actual default speed for this card is 1625mhz

Just higher as that info is indeed wrong going by reports from the WEB.

From what I gather some of the EVGA SC have arrived, but without the Crysis that were meant to go in the boxes with them.

So he's holding them until the Crysis DVDs arrive.

If you look in these forums and others you will find many people who can't match the Zotac Amps stock speed or the Asus or the EVGA SCC.

So I can't blame somebody for wanting one especially since the AMP is no more or less money than a lot of people's stock or slightly oc'd cards.

My bfg clocks to zotac amp speeds ? 1700mhz is the zotac shader and 700mhz core clock mine does that no problem it wont go over 1753 on rivatuner though i think 1753 is realtime 1728 shader clock there's no guarantee that the zotac will go over 1728 shader clocks either.
My bfg will do 730/1753/1000 crysis gpu bench stable which i think is a great stress test for everyone to use.
When i look on the monitor in rivatuner it says the shader is at 1728 so i presume 1753 actually is 1728 in gpuz it says my shaders at 1753mhz though.

What cooling are you using on your BFG mate to reach those clocks, they are superb. I intend to clock my OC2 higher, than its default of 675. Just hope it is a good core....

More Gainward and PNY have arrived today.

good to see the cards coming in a more plentiful supply, but £187.99 is still a premium price to pay for a standard clock card. I just wonder at what point we are going to see prices come down, as supply increases?.

Well I just rang OcUK sales and the guy didn't have a clue he just said there was a delay (which there was) and they were expecting them today. I told him that a guy on the forum (Gibbo) had already told us they arrived yesterday and he was baffled.

He said they haven't been booked into stock yet apparently.

They are hear along with a load of HD 3870's, but won't be booked into stock until midday as the booking in team are booking in many thousands of sticks of memory which is very time consuming. What I can assure you is the first 40 orders for Zotac AMP's will ship out today.

Our sales guys can only see stock that has been booked in, only those with special powers like myself know what we've really got.
