You should see getting on twice that score with your 8800GT, with the spec in your sig and with the GT at stock!

Well my rig (see sig) is not to dissimilar from yours (when you get your 8800) and I got a 12206 in 3DMark06.

I am in the exact situation. Currently got a x1900xt and hoping to get a 8800gt once stock is in ready supply.

Well, Zotac 8800GT appears to work fine in my Shuttle SG31G2 (250W SilentX PSU). In the crysis 32bit benchmark I get an average of 30fps (rounded down) with the following;

C2D E6850 3Ghz
4GB Elixir RAM PC6400

Well was told on phone this morning that mine was shipped at around 9 this morning meaning i wouldnt get it until monday, not today as promised (Why they couldnt quickly do last nite i don't know heh

) ... anyway Anyone know that if OC can liase with City link and Upgrade my order to saturday delivery (since its only been out the warehouse for a hour or 2) obviously im willing to pay all the extras etc.
I submitted a webnote but hoping if anyone on here knows if this is possible, money isnt really an issue, and since its only been out the warehouse for an hour, i cant see it being anywhere different than other packages coming on a saturday.

Actually, the courier tried to deliver it...... at 6:50 AM... and there wa5 no one at home... who'd e2pect the courier to come at that time?

5o if the mountain doe5n't come one ha5 to go to the mountain... and I picked it up from the General Po5t Office, lo5t my way on the way back, ended up in a 5mall 5treet where they race hor5e5 and the road wa5 all dirty with animal poo.

(5orry for the 5illy po5t appearing 5tupid becaue of the mi55ing key).

(Gue55 which letter are out of action on my keyboard?

EDIT: Well I edited it putting the number 5 in5tead - it wa5 even 5illier before becua5e in5tead of "po5t" I had been typing "pot"...

Mine, shipped the 22/11, is still somewhere in UK. What method of shipment did you take ? Royal Mail International Priority Signed For ? I think I'm gonna need some beers tonight :rolleyes:

Um not to make you worry... but do check about your shipment! I mean, my card got shipped on the 27th and I got it on the 30th........ in Malta...

Anyway, sure as heck this card is fast! I installed it, it's working perfectly. Adjusted fan speeds with rivatuner. So far the fan's inaudible - well not when you switch on your pc and it goes at 100%... that made me nearly fall off my chair!

With rivatuner, I made some 6 stepped up settings, from 30% fan for below 60 deg to 100% fan for over 90 degrees. During Oblivion (at maxed out settings now!

) the fan goes at 65% keeping the card in the high 70's low 80's temperature. It does that only when gaming, and during gaming I don't hear the fan due to the game sounds.

Previously on the 8600GTS I used to get below 20fps near Oblivion gates and in heavy grass, now the fps rarely fall below 55!!! :eek:

I'm truly amazed.

For the record my 3Dmark06 score is 12,067.

Ehhh, what a difference! I wished I had bought this card 6 months ago lol!

I orderd A 8800gt on monday and A cooler both where in stock, paid the 18 for delivery for tommorow As that's the only time when I'm In.

Just checked email's and there wasnt any from ocuk, so checked on here and It's in warehouse Cue, What do you reckon my chance's of getting this tommorow now?

Heh. All my Steam games are 1920x1200, but I'm not sure if my (non-overclocked) E6600 is letting things down or not.

Greetings.

Is there any news on the eVGA 8800's? Has anyone recieved thiers recently, and if so, when did you place your order? Just trying to get a bearing on how long mine will be. I ordered on the 18th Nov iirc. I was told they were expecting a shipment on friday the 23rd Nov, and that there were less than 50 people in the que for the eVGA (non-crysis pack, standard clocks). But still nothing

EDIT: ok, actually quite ****** now after reading the thread on the eVGA crysis packs, in that all preorders for those packs were shipped, and there was even one or two free. Had I known I would have gladly taken one..
I have been staring at my new 24" for the last week, unable to use it as I currently have a 6600 GT..
Also, can anyone tell me what the deal is with switching manufacturers?
ie. If I want to change from eVGA to BFG, do I go to the back of the line?

Managed to get into work today, really tired now. Sli system seems stable with 2 GT's on vista 64 and a striker extreme using beta drivers.

I am using 2 Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 coolers on the GTs which I had to mod slightly to get the sli bridge through the primary S1 cooler

but the hotter (lower) one is idle at around 40C with a 90mm fan blowing past them both. Fairly noisy at the moment but will play soon and get the clocks up higher and fans a little slower

.

I will start benchmarking this Beast tomorrow as I am too tired and can't be arsed right now.

just installed my BFG 8800GT OC2

i have waited a month for this card to arrive and now i get random lockups with either green or orange artifacts all over the screen i have tried adjusting the fan manually in rivatuner to 63% duty cycle but still get random freezes, i can still hear the game tho

the games i have tried so far since installing tonight are blacksite area 51, UT3, Gears of war

not tried crysis yet

what do i need to do ?

do you have rivaturner running? if so try without it.
