Umm, I got 12K with my (one) BFG OC2 on an E4300 @ 3.00Ghz.

I thought having 2 card will get you higher than 13K?

Sounds about right, I get approx 13k with two stock 8800GT's and an E2140 at 3Ghz. With a quad I'm told I'd be looking at 15k+.

It's only 3dmark though, gaming framerates are much more important.

How are you running sli with a Maximus Formula SE?

We're talking stock here. My own experience with 8800GT's in SLI on MY setup shows 10900 with one card, and 13000 with two, with the same CPU at 3ghz and the cards at stock settings. I was saying his results seemed to be similar to mine, which is what he was asking.

His sig also says he's running an 8800GTX, so unless you know any different, why do you appear to be trying to be clever and asking how he's running two GT's on a Maximus Formula, which is obviously not an SLI board.

Hence the question asking if you were reading too much into what was in the sig. I'm sure you have more kit than is in yours? I know I do.

Which one would y'all take, Zotac Amp! or BFG OC2? If the price was the same 'n both were in stock, which one would you go for?

I was asking as if he was using hacked drivers or something.

The maximus is very a new mobo.

And one of the best out there.What mobo is he using?

I should change my attitude? It seems to be you who gets peoples backs up around here to be honest....

If you wanted to know if hacked drivers were being used, then it's much more straightforward and far less likely for people to get the wrong idea if you just ask that?

Is OcUK super busy with all the GT mania still because I ordered a Razer Krait mouse from here today and expect it to be dispatched with royal mail 1st class tonight to get here for tomoz or wensday but its showing in warehouse queue still which leads me to think OcUK is extreamly busy with the volume of 8800GT's?

No I am using a Striker Extreme for SLI it's a different computer that I have just built. I am going to edit the bios's on the two GT's to go to zotac amp speeds 700/2000(1000)

.I have already tested with ntune and it works fine they do get to around 80C with S1 coolers on which is quite hot seeing as I have quite a few fans cooling them.

I am thinking I should have gone for the antec 900 case instead of the nzxt hush case for extra cooling and space

. Doesn't seem too bad though, the Striker isn't the coolest of boards it gets pretty damn hot around the northbridge.

got my gainward a few days after release

why not give one a try very very good and overclocked really well

runs at 65 degrees on average under load

dont overlook this one, especially if you want to game by christmas!

Just ordered the EVGA 8800GT Crysis Edition

Really hope that the stock indicator is accurate and that all the remaining cards haven't been snapped up already.
