8Pack Binned 5ghz+ Delidded 7700K CPU's for sale at OCUK

Are the 5.1 bundles actually using 5.2 binned cpus then ? Is that why they are a fair bit more than the sum of the parts, of course factoring ocuk warranty and setting up. Just wondering if there is more in the tank under custom water.

I'm eagerly looking forward to receiving the overclocked bundle (8Pack Xtreme Z270 - Intel Core i7 7700k @ 5.10GHz - Overclocked Kabylake Bundle), which was ordered on March 3rd. But I just phoned to find out how it was progressing after being told on Friday that it would be ready latest by today, to unfortunately find out that it might be ready by the end of the week (hasn't been assembled for overclocking and testing yet from what I understood on the phone call). I know it says 'allow 7 working days' and perhaps longer during busier periods on the bundle product page, but if you believe that you can't deliver around that timeframe then I would suggest advertising a higher timeframe to save disappointment if it's going to take longer than expected. However, if it's not ready to be delivered on Friday then I'll probably cancel my order and forget about it.

EDIT: Just had an email saying mine has been posted. Not sure if this is because my phone call earlier or because the person on the phone call I spoke to actually had the wrong information about my order progress. Either way I'm looking forward to it tomorrow!

I was away at Ek late last week. This is the only reason it did not ship. I had to finish testing it.

It's running 5.2ghz and will be with you today.

Ah I see. Yes, I have it now, it's all installed and running perfectly at 5.2GHz. I'll write a positive review on the product page in a few moments, thanks again!

EDIT: Tried to leave positive review but it could be that the review has to be manually approved.

We have a new QC procedure on all Binned chips now to make sure all are benefiting fully from Delid and none slip through the QC net.
That's good news for many but I have a question

Well more like a suggestion. Although you are binning chips that are guaranteed OCs, would you guys ever do just a service or sell for example 7 series CPU which includes just delidding & application of liquid metal? (I know some may find it silly) but it would be handy for those who don't want to tinker with the CPU themselves for many reasons i.e. experience, self imposed risk or not having the equipment to do so

I also second that request from ussie i was asking for that before purchasing the tools to do it myself

Caseking dose sell a range of der8auer 7600k and 7700k what have been pre-tested from a range of 4.8ghz up and have custom ihs and have been delidded what are only a £20 different from buying a retail cpu of ocuk.
so this could be an option for people who what it on the cheap

i have one and really love it.

+1

i have friends that always asking em about stuff like this "Can you do it as i don't wanna have the risk"

Could be a good money spinner.

Well I've had my 7700k for a few days now cooled with the Corsair H100 RGB.
Got it clocked to 5.0Ghz with 1.365v and it's stable, well stable till it get too warm I think.
All 4 cores idle in the low 30's and while gaming they hit the high 60's low 70's which I don't like for only using 1.365v.
