9/11 Terrorists

Security before this event wasn't quite what it is today. You used to be able to go right up to the gate without going through security.

Security cant be 100% perfect otherwise airports would grind to a halt.

they got into cabin fast and locked the door, but passengers did try to break the cabin door open.

P.S star the sweary :p

Also until that point passengers were hostages and so you would try anything.

Bit of debate on utility or box cutter knife and security was no where near as tight back then, specially on internal flights.

From what I remember they got into the cockpit quite quickly, locked the door and stayed there, the passengers didn't even know what was going on.

Nice of you to swallow the official version given that even the CIA does not know what happened and the official 'inquiry' was a huge cover up.

What about the van of potential Israeli agents that was found with explosives on 9/11?

The days of being shown around the cockpit whilst in flight, mad eh?

Oh it goes on as you read this. You only have to do a YouTube search or go to FL350.com and watch those clips. *Some* have "official" permission but quite a few are pax who are given the jumpseat!

Ive got a lot of airline pilot buddies who miss it. What better way to encourage the next gen into aviation than to see it first hand?
