90's

I can so relate to this thread, born in 79 I was a child of the 80's but teen of the 90's. 1994 to 97 were without doubt the best years of my life I left school and went to college made some amazing friends and the world felt like an exciting place with Brit Pop and the Internt just starting, mobile phones and awesome on the edge TV on Channel4 like Brass Eye.

Amazing amazing times....

Also fun to see Aqua on the list. I remember meeting them and it was for a long time the best day of my life :p

OMG Yes, I still have these songs! I relate to nearly everything. The old Kappa Popper Trackies as well!
 
Some of that stuff was more 80s than 90s....

I was 18 in 1990 and Glasgow nightclubs were open to 5am that year for "city of culture" reasons :D

Then they had that 12pm curfew which saw quite a few late night drinks having to be spent in the casino instead of nightclub....
 
Does anybody remember watching something called "Why don't you?", I can't find anything about it on youtube but I vaguely remember watching it as a child.

The show with all the scouse(?) teenagers. I remember that I ******* loved it.
Don't remember why though, haha!

Funnily enough I have recently been watching through Charlie Brookers Screenwipe again and he was interviewing Russell T. Davies (he wrote Dr. Who 2005-2010) who said that "why don't you" was the one of the first jobs he wrote for in television.
 
Just read the article now as I'm home now and this one stood out the most for me, I have completely forgotten about this!

60) You had to watch things like Geordie Racer at primary school

Which then made me remember two books that got read to us, Rebecca's World and one about a girl who was sick and couldn't leave her bed and it was nearly her 10th birthday.

I can't remember what it was about either, been racking my brains trying to remember it.. was there a sheep wearing boots in one of the episodes? apart from that all I can remember is the theme tune and some Blue Peter type stuff.
