Michael Mosley fell in the day right?
And he wasn't on a come down from a massive bender.
Yea but he went walking at ‘stupid heat’ o’clock so his faculties were probably not functioning correctly either.
The line between life and death can be extremely thin if you’re in a potentially dangerous place and not fully ‘with it’

The trainee barrister from Golbourne, near Wigan, had his phone, passport iPad, wallet and keys stolen as he swam in the sea.

Just decided to leave all possessions on the beach whilst going for a dip? What could go wrong? :|

He reported the thefts to police but got lost on the way home and was unable to get back into his apartment until late. According to his family he tried to break in, causing an argument with his flatmates on 6 July.

Since then he has been threatened with eviction.

Where is all this information coming from, if he has no phone/ipad, friends, etc?

It all sounds bizarre, he forgot keys, then started trying to break in and argued with flatmates.

As people have said, this kind of thing probably happens to multiple people every year, just the Jay Slater story has now made it front page news so we'll get a few pop up before people get bored and move on.

Benjamin has had a history of mental health issues after suffering during his studies to become a Barrister and the pressures of the pandemic. After treatment and seemingly feeling much better, Ben went to Palma to take a break and work in a better climate. He secured a job with a local energy company in Palma and was seemingly doing well until a series of unfortunate events led to him going missing

OTOH After pictures on Tenariffe looks like a good destination for rock climbing, still don't see why they couldn't have used drones to find Jay,
vicariously looking at even non-commercial drone footage of similar area in corsica had visited, detail is impressive.

If he's not insured then I'm sure repatriating the body would be expensive, other than that though, they are taking the ****.
It’s not too expensive to repatriate a body, different if it’s somebody needing critical care. Won’t be more than £5k I suspect.

And “volunteers”, how many actually flew out? You could literally charter a jet for less money than that.
