A battlefield2 thread

Cant wait to try it out, ive seen a video of it and it does look pretty awsome, the guns look a lot more accurate when you stand up.

What i would like to see is in the special forces xpansion you get to use a grapple, now wouldnt it be great if you can use it on helis that hover over your spawn you climb up and plant c4 wait till it flys away and blow it out the air.

or grapple from jet to jet mid air and carry on flying as as front gunner

In fact that part of the film was fiction, when they fired the gun it was far from mobile. For starters it was hooked upto 2 x 30kilo Truck batteries to power the cycle rate of the gun. The amount of ammo used would require a backpack weighing about 176lbs.

After the film, the marines did look into wether it was feasible for rapid action clearance of heli landing sites in hostile areas but it was decided it was not practical.

Ive just started to get into bf2 after i bought some 2gb memory which made it playable.And im really enjoying it, so far ive played about an hour on a ranked server and got the basic sniping badge and a mounted gun badge i think.
I bought this game the day it came out and only played about 30mins worth cause of my spec.
But im afraid im not gonna be playin as much as i like cause of my broadband usuage but near xmas im migrating to another one that has unlimited usuage, cant wait. :)
 
I think the game is bril, i used to play ET a lot but havnet been on for over a fortnight now, i usally play on one of 3 servers the *ZHG* the 50 klicks and the one in phils sig, simply beacuse the have auto forgive and FF off ,makes for a better game as you dont have those idiots complaining when they walk over the explosives or when a bit of a plane falls on them. However those clans dont always follow thier own rules about attcking non cap spawns, was on the ZHG server last night and an APC came trundeling in and killed everybody who were going for the planes and helis.

we need tracer rounds in bf2 :D

WRONG!!!!!!!!!

siege had vehicles (removed later on), many many other maps had them too.
also there is jolts roadrage server, trucks, jeeps and ferrari f40's :D
