Yea, only done it a few times but it is such a laugh! Especially for a noob like me who gets killed all the time!! You should try it. Awesome and very funny.

I can see why EA could be partly responsible for pushing a game to be released early, thus making it buggy, but I can't see their responsibility in the 1.3 patch. Don't you mean DICE?

Not cool dude, i would be more impressed if you had said you had snuck to the enemy airbase and done it to the people you are actually supposed to kill. Instead of doing it to your own teammates.

If you ever do that on a server im admining, you'll be receiving permenant holiday in the form of a ban. ;)
 
I don't see what the hassle is, server crashes u wait for it to come back up go back in and you got the points u had before, no realy grief is it.

No you dont. If the server crashes it effectively resets itself and goes back to the first map in the rotation,, no points sent to EA, no points stored, nada, diddly squat, absolutely b(_)gger all.

Its not even about the points, its the fact it occurs so often (and randomly) that you can barely get 2/3 rounds in before it dies.

Hmm, im 50K and never really see that problem really....

Its one of the best servers ive played on TBH, get yourself into a good squad and its amazing as the teamwork adds a lot of fun to the game. Really all i can say is log into our 50 man server for a game and decide for yourself.

7 days till i have the internet back at home, then roll on the BF2 whoring :D

Probably because it's the 50K guys in the planes :p

I've had a lot of great rounds on there, but the last couple of times I've dragged friends on there they've either been owned by vehicles or kicked for breaking a single rule (jihad jeep) which resulted in an instant ban :-/
 
Yeah, but on other servers the person would be kicked after spawn raping, rather than it just carrying on map after map.
The t00bing / outnumbering incidents on the 50k vs OcUK matches to name another.

A lot of double stanards on there if you ask me...

Wow wow wow, ill drawn the line there.

When you agree to an arranged game you make sure you have enough people to play, if they dont turn up you dont expect the other team to tell there members (who have made time to turn up) to bugger off because half your team couldnt be bothered to show up. Several of our players DID leave even though by all accounts they shouldnt have done and the teams still werent balanced.

As for t00bing, its a part of the game, you cant stop someone using a weapons because you feel its unbalanced. Life doesnt work like that. As for double standards, thats tripe. Our members are dealt with far more severely if they break the rules than any member of the public ever would be.
 
Outnumbering on the matches has nothing to do with how the server is operated and how its adminned.

As for jihad jeeps, i can see why people would do it, it is fun, but its also quite annoying and its something im 50/50 whether im in support of or not.

As for the jets, as said, 50K does have a higher standard of play most of the time, which bring oot a lot of good pilots, but not always. Ill fly the jets and couldnt hit the carrier with the bombs 50% of the time im that bad, but im OK at dogfights and do enjoy flying.

How they admin their server is a personal view, some like it and some dont, its just a matter of opinion.

I don't want to go off on one because last time it turned a bit nasty, but at some points the server was full despite 50k having a player advantage, but that's another issue and is in the past now.
