I would be suprised if its only a matter of hours tbh, i would imagine it be posted about the net off peeps anyway tha dl it. Its only a rumour atm we find out more i guess soon.

Once one person pays, it will be leeked and given to eveyone else anyways. Unless some form of security is present.

Wierd cus EA usually do thre exclusive downlaods through Fileplanet.. but i guess they have taken an alternative path.

Don't think it will have a key. FEAR/splinter cell were beta's if I remember correctly , they always have keys. BF2 is just a standard demo , can't see a demo having a cd key.

Would have to have authentication servers up , then supply tons of keys for magazines , or redo the demo for the free release. Seems like a lot of effort for a standard demo.

Just don't see it having a key myself , but we'll see when it gets released.

That rumor is getting pathetic, first it was 16:00GMT then 18:00GMT (about 5pm gmt) then 18:00BST, then 21:00 etc etc..

Paying for the demo? some slight madness I doubt it very much the success to BF1942 was largely thx to that amazing 1 player map they put out before release....which forced every game to run amok and buy it.

Anyhow not long now its thursday so just gotta wait till tommorow.

Gamespot Complete / GameCenter members are rumoured to be getting the demo early as an exclusive. Non subscribers will have to wait until Friday.......

There is a file available for download already via bit torrent called Battlefield 2 (Demo), wonder if this is the real thing....only one way to find out I guess
