A-Level Results.

AS results:

Maths - A
Physics - A
Computing - B
Religious Studies - B (Philosophy of Religion/Religious Ethics)

:)

Aiming for straight As next year, which I think is easily attainable for me if I put my back into it (dropping RS and taking an AS in Further Maths).

Congrats everyone, hope you enjoy uni, after about a week there, you won't care about the A Levels results anymore! I know I didn't as soon as I opened up my letter on results day that said I got in to my first choice.

Failed all AS-A levels except one (mostly to not being able at the time to speak or write english at an adequate level) and was told that I have no future whatsoever. Still I ignored the No swearing! and went to university but foundation was required though. Now I am almost with my degree(dissertation left) so....don't take your results or advices from teachers very seriously :D. The future is bright if you trust a little bit in yourself

Dam, didn't do as well as I hoped :(

Just called the Uni they are going to sit down and think about it... He said 'It shouldn't be to much of a problem, you might have to take something along side the course just to up the points'

:(

This is nice to hear, UWE just told me I'll have to do a foundation... really not sure whether I should do this or do another a level one evening a week without the expense of uni and get on the degree course next year.

Mine are coming in the post :(

I got mine ones in the post too. The school used to sent my results for every semester to my london house and not where my parents live(outside UK). In the last semester I was so crap that they decided to alert my parents  so they let them know how I was doing. Father called and verbally abused me but managed to talk him out of it by using diplomatic skills :D . Nowadays all is fine and my dignity is restored :D

Well my course is a HND - After 2 years you can leave, if you wisah to make it into a BSc Honours (Degree) thats a further 2 years!

There are many universities who will accept you with no problem if you do foundation. Personally it helped me a lot as I learned the language better but for a fluent speaker it's a waste of time really. Oh well....as a last resort you can always try to bribe the uni I guess :D

600/600? :p (they are UMS, i don't know it's just what she was told)

She's doing Law, and she's super intelligent it was pretty much expected. Just maybe not the top mark...

Two Bs and two Cs for AS, was hoping for at least one A :( Missed A in maths by 12 marks.

Maths - B
Chemistry - B
Biology - C
Physics - C

I really thought I was going to fail Physics but I got C :D.

Problem is, my brothers got As and Bs in their AS/A Levels so my parents are annoyed with me . I plan to get Maths and Chemistry upto an A by resitting one module.

I did multimedia computing at university. The only requirement at my uni in the foundation year as I recall is that you need to get 50+ in one of the modules in order to be allowed to do computing afterwards but don't remember which module was. The foundation just helped me to improve my english because at college the enviroment was rubbish.

Got AAA in A Level Biology, Chemistry and Computing.

Going to Oxford (Magdalen College) to do Biology.

:) <-- That's me at the minute.

Congrats to everyone who's had their results today!!
