A return to form: Say hello to Banana MK2, the Italian Prancing Horse (Ferrari 458 Italia)

I'm just about to get my first set of MPS4S when I get back to the UK in a few days, after years of driving with MPSS on so that kind of "real user feedback" makes me happier with my choice!

Expect a slightly softer ride but with no real downside to handling, just maybe not feeling as sporty, more grip in dry, lots more grip in the wet.

I've tried to find a new set for the 458, failing miserably as the front size been 235/35/20 seem a really odd size and all Michelin seem to do now is Porsche and Tesla versions, so for now I am just moving my current PS4S to the new wheels as the fronts are perfect anyway. But I might grab a set of new rears as my current rears are around 3mm.

lovely motor @Gibbo just needs more spokes

I'll be picking my new M5 Comp up in Glasgow in a week or so. Was thinking of doing the NC500 whilst up there to get a chunk of the run in done as quickly as possible.

Let me know any great roads you would reccomend as I've got a 9 day tour starting next month so let me know any particular roads you'd recommend as I'll be taking the SRT8... not gonna be cheap on fuel hahaha. My only worry is I might have to detune it now, as I won't be running on 99 Octane which it's been tuned on. You having any problems with "big bobs petrol" uyp there? lol

I hope you're enjoying the trip over to Skye.

Not sure we have an Isle of Sky, although that's probably just directly overhead :D

In Skye now, lovely weather today apart from
The odd crazy shower but more epic roads:

Amazing trip so far and had some incredible weather and roads are pretty quiet and nothing you can’t easily overtake on these kind of roads. :)

How many miles per day would you say you could manage. If you had limited time. I think I read a guide that said 80 miles may be max on some days. I know there is stopping etc. But if time limited.

NC500 if you follow the prescribed route can be very tight and bumpy on some parts so 100-150 a day is sensible. The route I did a month back was not NC500 and was focused on driving and the roads were multiples better than the prescribed route and we were around 220 miles a day with a lunch stop each day.

We are doing similar we’re only doing parts of coastal route and picking out some of the epic inland roads, going up and down Skye at moment, about to go visit the castle that is still lived in.
