Yep, I think the slides I saw were from Phillips, who also have a 27" 144hz 1920x1080 gsync unit due around the same time which is to be priced at around €470.
Will be keeping a close eye on ces happenings, seems the gsync partners are all planning to give road maps.
All I've heard from asus so far is a rog branded gsync monitor.

The 1440 120hz and gsync all next to each other gives me chills, good chills.
£600 or lower its a winner for sure.

That said though, it better be an IPS display - it doesn't actually say whether it's IPS or TN, if it's the latter then no thanks...

$800 for a TN panel seems a bit steep - even if it is 1440p, 120Hz with G-Sync.

No news on 4k gsync, the ROG will do in the meantime

That panel looks sweet and I have no issues with it being a TN panel. For sure, IPS would be sweet but a 120Hz 1440P G-Sync monitor.... Yes please

Thing is though, are there even any 2560x1440+ TN panels on the market now? I can't see them being produced for such a unique product which is designed for only a very small percentage of the monitor market as a whole - with that in mind, I hope that this is IPS (or even PLS).

I really hope they make that monitor in ips it's gorgeous and would sit nicely on my desk. Think it's gaining to cost more than £600 though.
