A ZZZAC Thread: Project ZZZAC

majorly annoyed right now
car broke down after i tore my rig to btis ready for the change in hardware
so nothings happening till next weekend

So after all that the seller went and sold it to someone elese for less 3 days before we arranged for me to pick it up (this sat)
saying this i only have £220 at the moment in cash, and so i cant afford an i5 2500k for a couple of weeks,
but i know what ive got in mind and how much it will cost. im being paid another £180 in a couple of weeks so i should have way more than enough money to get an i5, but bassicly
untill then project postponed
and yes, seems he promised it to me before christmas and know my cicrumstances with my current rig im megggggga annoyed!
sorry for the disspointment
i mayupload pictures soon, yet i dropped my phone in the toilet (clean water) at 7am so it will need drying out first, and i think it still works

was in a dazed state and it was an actual toilet not a urinal
but it was cleen water as it was befeor i went and did my stuff, it seemed to jump out my pocket
its now ballenced on the back of my gpu as its the only warm place in my house :D

Something that's been soaked in water is now sitting on the PCB of your graphics card?

I wish I could be as smart as you :(

haha, its only needing a wam place to sit, ive dried it thoruhgly,, yet cant fuind the right torx to take it apart and dry it
meh should be fine
not like its leaking :L
Edit: taken it off and its working :)

Do you think you'll ever complete a build? :p

yup, i have havent i?
i am sat next to a pile of stacked parts rather than a pc, it takes about 3 attempts to boot, but after taht its fine, and it is used to dry out my phone and clothing ;)

joking, well about the cloting bit
otherwise thats about spot on
i took my whole rig to bits
but trust me as soon as im paid ive picked my motherboard and will get mobo+cpu orderd from here brand new and not make a mess of it :D

haha mmade my day
as for my amd based system, all that time ive just tested it with an athlon dual core, and am completely stable, so after allot of ebay falming and trying to sort it out and diagnose my system..... It was the proccesor i brough from here, thanks ocuk for a lovely 8 months of hell

no offense but once again yet another one of your "build" threads has been carp, its not ocuks fault that you have 8 months of problems, going by your other threads thats all because of you and you lack of research and money wasting on utter turd.

either get building something and post actual pictures not just a wall of words!! there is not ONE picture in this thread! :)

my system has been running bdaly for 6-8 months due to a cpu and maybe a little to do with ram
unfortunatley i am here to bring bad news
the £180 sale has fallen through so im not getting paid enough for a while, and only have £200 so it looks like it will be a delayed project.
Yet today i also bring images
here we go, a strip down and rebuild ish of my current rig.

Starting to tear down my rig

After finding out about my purcahse of the i5 falling through, system running on my motherboard try

img00521.th.jpg

stacker in all its glory being unused in the corner as i am not bothered enough to rebuild it into this case (due to thinking i was getting paid and ordering bits and Saturday)

And my system in a temporary case due to this was going to be my second pc.
I have used a coolermaster 650watt psu, a zalaman cooler and going to have an 80gb hard drive with a gtx 280 or gtx 260 (when my wallet lets me)

sorry for the delay, if i had the money id buy it, but it looks like it will be a fortnight before i get there

WHy not just sell all your crap, then get a good rig?

WHAT DO YOU THINK IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO!
i had a sale for a old gaming rig (socket 939) for £180 fall through, and im advertising several more computers parts and other stuff, the only reason i haven't got started is due to money issues, and how i am not getting much of it!
i know its a disappointing thread, i was expecting to have been paid by now, and not to have busted out the amount of money i have on other things that i need.
Yeah, the disappointing thread has been very disappointing for me, i should have got my i5 this weekend.

okay, tonight selling the socket 939 rig for... £180
since ive been on a ocuk "holiday" im sure everyone is glad to here
i ordered my board from ocuk and an i5 2310 (could not afford 2500k by a long way) from a competitor
My order from ocuk has had a few issue's one of witch is although when i ordered it was marked 4 in stock, it had 0 in stock
and even when they told me it was not in stock, it was marked 2 in stock, so i can only assume 2 more people are in the same situation, but there are none in stock and no eta from the suppliers so i can only assume its not coming back to ocuk.
Meaning i either shop at a competitor witch seems viable due to the amount of problems ive had from ocuk.
Or i change my board and buy from ocuk, and i can gladly say since im getting paid i can afford a board with a z68 chip set, yet am torn over what to get compared with teh sapphire hydra, witch is insane value for money.
anyone sugest a s1155 board in the sub £135 price range, to be honest i expected to have been built by now, as i ordered on Saturday, and im very dissapointed

if i were you i would buy this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-364-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

seeing as you bought a non overclockable chip though there is no point in even wasting more money on a z68 platform. did you know you can't overclock that chip and it is also an s chip?

first of all, it is overlcokable, id prefer going z68 as it has smart cahce, and i plan on sometime maybe caching a ssd for better speeds, also has more options, and overall look better and are nicer.

S chip's are about power efficiently right?
well im not sure, and it doesn't really make much of a difference to me
isnt t meant for 45watt or lower TDP asn S for 65watt tdp?
