A5 iphone 4s and iPad 2 Jailbreak Complete!

It surprises me that with jail breaking unlocking the massive potential of the iPhone (properly jailbroken iPhone becomes the most incredible phone ever)
Apple hasn't adopted the really good features such as quick reply from bitesms (I am gobsmached this still is only an extension)
lockinfo
sbsettings and probably after 5 years of the device that no stock theming application has been launched. I know apple don't like people to mix everything up and give a bad image to the phone but its look is really dated.

I'm finding bitesms a bit glitchy at the moment, can't quite put my finger on it but it's just not as snappy as it should be on the 4S. So that's gone for the time being!

Cleverpin will do exactly this, or if its charging, playing music etc

Ta for that. Just the Job!

Does anyone know of any tweaks or apps that will allow me to set the Auto Lock so it doesn't come on when it's plugged in?

Also, I'd like to be able to customise ringtone / sms / alert volume by time and / or location.

Kinda like what MyProfiles does for iOS 4.

I can't find anything like this...

Same here for bitesms, just doesnt seem to gel as well as it did on the iOS4.

Tempted myself to just remove it for the time being, really do just want the quick reply feature of it.

Is there anything else that offers just the quick reply functionality?

BiteSMS is sluggish for everyone on iOS5. They haven't fully mastered iOS5 as its a major change.
They are working on it :)

Its not as bad on my 4S as it was on my 4 but still not as snappy as other apps.

I've just managed to do the major reason I wanted to jailbreak. I can now tether my iPad wifi with my Blackberry so can now use it anywhere. I'm on O2 unlimited data so no additional bills either.

Depends what you want to do, a good start would be:

Winterboard - for theming/changing the icons on your device
SBSettings - Quick access to wifi/data/brightness toggles
Infinifolders - enables you to have 1 Games folder with all your games in it, instead of 3
Graviboard (if it works) - A bit of fun
iFile - If you download stuff to your phone

Google "2011 must have sources for Cydia" add all of those to Cydia before you do anything, then install the steffwiz repo and then the All Sources repo. that should set you up for pretty much anything

ipad2 jailbroke easy peasy on mac :)

backing up iphone then will do that too.

any ipad users, i highly recommend retinapad.
