After much hassle, iPad 2 32gb 3G..... DONE!! Full restore and 'It just works'

Anyone know if there is a working siri port available or know of one which may be coming?

EDIT: seems a factory restore will solve the problem!

Does anyone know what the following line does:

cinject -w

I turned on VPN without typing the above line and Cydia appeared and works fine. My Iphone 4S (9A406) is jailbroken.

Now use "cinject -w" to start watching the syslog.
Then toggle VPN on and look for the "pod2g is in da house!" syslog message.

Worked a charm, just backed it up and left all the apps installed then went for it. Took around 5 mins

Ive had to restore after causing a few problems with extensive jail breaking. Although my phone worked and looked best its ever looked. Enjoying photoshops guide!

I did the restore a lot when i first started jailbreaking and modifications

You get better at it.

Oh Ive been jail breaking for years. Its just this one thing I mentioned in your other thread! haha. I like to install a boat load of stuff first to see how it works. then just restore and install only the good stuff. Time consuuuuuming!

iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 done in 5mins. Didnt have to restore and setup from new either. Well impressed. Cydia looks qualitee on the iPad

I can't restore. I keep getting Error 21 and 1600 when in DFU.

Nevermind, Got a windows machine running an older iTunes to restore it. (Just to note if anyone else has this issue)

After patiently waiting for a JB for my iPad2 I managed to Jailbreak mine yesterday...... today I will restore back to stock iOS. As per so many people's comments in here I cannot see the benefits.

In my (albeit brief) experience I wouldn't consider 99% of the apps on Cydia useful. In fact, even when Googling the "Top 10 JB'ed apps for iPad" I still wasn't directed towards anything useful.

Compared with the gains made when JB-ing the ATV2 I was massively disappointed.

Just my views, but thought I'd share.

Im confused as to why people needed to restore? I JB'd my iPad 2 in less than 10 minutes using CLI without need for a restore.......

I only restored because I fracked up a file during customisation
