They have put it up now
here is the description

Added "P2P write between Gfx ports" in BIOS setup menu.
Fix FRAPS testing program might report incorrect framerate.
Fix PCI-E is always fixed at 100Mhz.
Fix Bios that we should have done in the first place
Fix Fired off the current bios team and inserted new
Fix Shall not try to be first out with new Chipset unless we know it damn well works
"

we are slowly learning how this board ticks , i will leave my skew set to auto just to see what it does ( as a control against your fixed settings )
Blinder^
I must be the only one using the pci one then , to be honest I just bunged it in the first one i saw , did not even think about it being the pci one, let me d/l at 1.23mbs with < 1% cpu useage

just look what you started with your before launch m/b
I would say along with Raja and Coolasmoo plus others that you could buy this m/b now and be happy but flash to the 311 on asus ftp site plus others
raja said:Hi,
I have found that on my system I can set the fsb to 224 at a multipler of 12 to get around 2.7ghz.
Now if I knock the multiplier down to 11 without changing anything else the board won't boot.
So I have to set the fsb back to 200 then go to 220, and work up in increments of 5mhz or so just to be safe, now I'm at 245 @ 1T, and have just that extra bit of bandwidth.
So yes the board will overclock reasonably, but it is finnicky, you can't just tap in a known fsb, you have to work up slowly. Whether or not Asus will entertain a possible fix for this is unknown at present. I will forward this info to Gary.
Will someone else try the same? Lower multiplier higher fsb for same cpu speed, so we can see if it's random or not????
Thanks
Raja
