although I have the temp prob. I have just run a test for you
x2 4800
mult 12 fsb 220 typed straight in , boots to windows
mult 12 fsb 230 ditto
mult 11 fsb 230 ditto
mult 12 fsb 200 ditto
hope that makes sence

I'm running corsair 3500LL pro.
maybe it is trickier with Corsair ram.
I know I have to take it nice and easy oc-ing at 11x
I can't just knock down the multiplier from 12x like you can
Have not tried 230 straight at 12x though.
thanks for the info....
really do need to see what end users are seeing 1:1 with the asus, LDT can be set to 3, DLL needs to be in highspeed mode and the drive for LDT can be at optimal, aslo remember to set the skew down to 450 or 600 and the fsb rises. I have seen 3 reviews all showing over 300fsb, issue is i have not seen many end users doing the same.

I think there is a sticky in the overclcocking section of this forum, maybe worth a read first......

I can't find LDT in the bios?Coolasmoo said:Im gonna quote tony from Xtreme as im not 100% sure myself, but i do remember having to change a few things when i had the first Gruper Ati board
raja said:Will someone else try the same? Lower multiplier higher fsb for same cpu speed, so we can see if it's random or not????
Thanks

Jokester said:What sort of stable FSBs are people getting with this board, I've seen reviews saying 320-330 is posible. Is this the norm?

Thanks for the info Raja, but you've lost me thereraja said:now lower your multiplier where you expect it to reach 280 fsb
Yeah that was kinda what I thought. It was running OK at 300 x 10 before (10x is default multi).Coolasmoo said:Im guessing he means if you know your cpu can hit 2.8 then lower the multi to 10,
Or something like that
