There was a great piece on Dan Snows history hit a couple of years ago on Putin with an actual expert on Russia. That even Putin cannot quit his role and is stuck, if he quit he would be taken out. I've been trying to find the podcast again but it seems they only keep them 2 years

There's also an excellent podcast on there now on oligarchs, well worth a listen. Not just the Russian ones but the ones in America and the West.
