Meh, entertaining but still not good race really. Safety cars giving Vettel's 3rd(well 4th, button gifting him 3rd), stupid overtakes causing most of Vettel's passes on faster cars.
Can't believe Webber got away with no penalties, he was a douche on Maldonado, but more crucially he was terrible against Massa, then he used not making the corners to go full speed and cut Massa off on the next corner by basically rejoining in an incredibly dangerous way, at best that is a stop go penalty though that isn't far from black flag.
Likewise Grosjean I think is at fault because Perez was off the track fine but was well on and on the racing line right behind another car on the racing line, there was no room, there was never going to be any room. Punishing Perez is mental as the only reason he was off track was he was actually being safe and trying to avoid Di Resta who really should have conceded much like Button did, before the next turn, Perez went wide I feel because he wasn't sure Di Resta wouldn't smack into him, if anyone was to get a penalty I'd say Di Resta and/or Grosjean.
Webber though, as they are saying now with Hill saying he cut onto the Apex, was shocking, the more I see it coming back on the track at full speed and into the apex of the corner is black flag material, if he'd simply smashed into Massa it would and should have been a black flag, and insanely dangerous. When you cut the corner you can't come back on in that kind of way, same as Maldonado against hamilton at Valencia, is absolutely reckless and pretty much ruined Massa's race.
I still can't decide as well, it still seems like Webber hit Grosjean when he had a pretty large amount of room and plenty of warning to go around him, maybe not.
I did say, Vettel pits and then Webber causes a safety car
as others have said today, and I've said for over a month, Hamilton left because even with the best car on track he can't trust Mclaren to turn it into a win... becoming a joke, but thank god their pit stops are 0.2seconds faster than others(although WAY slower on average due to screw ups), way to focus on the right parts of the race guys, brilliant.
Lastly, Button, lol, Mclaren was by a country mile the fastest car out there today, and the Mclaren was "weak" on the soft tyre and even better on the hard tyre, and Hamilton ripped everyone a new one on the weak tyre. Button could and should have qualified second and should have won that race after Hamilton was out, anyone who rates Button as in the same league as Hamilton is kidding themselves.
