Is it a 1 stop race?

Soft to hard means a long sting on the hard tires.

Likely going to be 2 stop as it's a much faster circuit now. Already we've seen tyres overheating and the pressures having to go up to save Pirelli from themselves. Add to that Max and Lewis will be pushing with everything they have. As I understand it a two stop is faster so long as you don't get stuck in traffic.

I'm sure the Sky commentators were saying a two stopper is still slower but meh. Who knows what's going to happen. I have a really bad feeling that Max is going to run away with it tomorrow :(

Be funny as **** if lando takes no **** from max in turn1 and takes him out
Think Lando knows its probably going to cost him more doing that. He will probably stay out of the way of those two.
Max will get off quickly with his softs but reckon the race will be another one decided on strategy more than overtaking itself.

Softs + 100kg of fuel = they’ll be wrecked inside 10 laps.

The only way this works out for RB is if they stay out long enough for a safety car. Given how much people seem to be going off track this year, I wouldn’t put it past Mazepin being in the wall inside those first 10 laps. Would give RB a lovely window to pit inside.

The world will implode if it’s done under red flags

Interesting interview https://www.telegraaf.nl/sport/1851...n-auto-had-gezeten-was-seizoen-allang-beslist

Do you think Hamilton is afraid of you?
"He will never admit that. At least I'm not afraid of him. Yes, I think I make him nervous when he sees me in his mirrors. He's a different driver than me, less aggressive. He doesn't know how to race like I do. I can't blame him for that either, because he was never able to learn that like I did from my father."

Seems like being surrounded by toxic people in the Red Bull echo chamber has really fed his delusions, and he doesn't see that his 'racing' is mostly just cheating.

Normally; but there has been some suggestion it might end up being 2 stops this time around
Think the spiky curbs could be causing tyre issues, could be a reason for two-stopping.

If I was Hamilton, I would take that as a massive complement.

So without a safety car, Max’s tyres go 15 laps whereas Hamilton goes 25 or so. Both have to go onto hards. Hamilton then has much fresher hards that he can really push. Ultimately a safety car will likely decide the outcome. Max might even have to stop again.

Check the crowd response to Max and Lando, not a single boo ...

There's bound to be some booing by some fans, but the sheer amount of cheering will make it inaudible on TV.

To be fair we've been in the Middle East; a lot of Lewis' off-track views aren't exactly accepted in that region of the world....

Ignoring the massive sea of orange in the crowd this weekend who have flown over from the Netherlands.

Half the population of the Netherlands were in the stand on the main straight!

Someone gets it :)
