Acer XB270HU - Worlds First IPS, 1440p, 144hz, Gsync

If I order one of these monitors and find dead pixel(s) and decide to return the monitor under the distant selling act (or whatever the revised name is). How would I send it back and at what cost roughly? Can overclockers arrange to pick it up through one of there couriers or has this got to be done by myself?

Distance Selling Regulations no longer apply and the law is now called Consumer Contracts Regulations and has been in force since June 2014. You have 14 days (including weekends) from receipt of the goods to decide you want to return them for any reason. So the answer is yes you can return the monitor for that reason. You would have to sort out the return to Overclockers including postage costs yourself. It's possible that Overclockers might arrange to pick it up for you, but they would still deduct the cost of that pick up from the refund they provide you. They can also deduct a reasonable amount from the refund if your handling of the goods has reduced their value (unlikely if you're just turning it on to check for dead pixels).

Hi there

The monitors have arrived, our warehouse guys are unloading them off the truck now, they should be showing in stock later today and we shall be shipping all pre-orders today. :)

Great stuff. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent tool to check for stuck/dead pixels? I can create some colour blocks and run a slideshow but if there's something custom-made to highlight panel imperfections that would be ideal.

Ordered one from OcUK now. I hope there's enough stock to cover my order as well :)

I'll be interested to see people's user reports and findings on this monitor now it's more widely available, especially from those who have or have used a Rog Swift.

All juicy details in here please.....

Mine has dispatched too, can't contain the excitement. :o

That said, I have a distinct feeling that not everything will be so rosy tomorrow. Pretty much every monitor I have ever bought has had some sort of defect.
