Acer XB270HU - Worlds First IPS, 1440p, 144hz, Gsync

I'm probably not the only one here checking "Outstanding Orders" and waiting for it to move to order history :)

Can't wait to get my hands on this monitor.
 
Mine says:
"Order Status: In our warehouse queue"

Is that what it normally says as a generic "awaiting item" thing? I didn't actually check when I first made the order.
 
It hurts that I had this thing weeks ago, only to send it back because of pixel issues, and still haven't got a replacement back. I know what I'm missing better than anyone.

This is response from Acer on the warranty:

The warranty on the XB and all gaming series is 2 years. The procedure is outlined and detailed on our website. In general if there is a fault with the unit the customer will return the unit to Acer Service and then Acer ship the unit back to the customer (after repaired). See links and details below.

You could add a link to our website and warranty / service section for the customer if need be or you could add the customer service award logo to boost our credibility. We didn’t win Customer Service Award of the Year 2015 for poor after sales care :)
 
Will OCUK do a pixel perfect service like they have with the Rog Swift?, if I had that peace of mind I'd seriously considering getting one.

Just buy it and if it has dead pixels sent it back under DSR, the law has changed on it but I believe you are still within your rights to return before having it for 7 days.

It sounds like it to me that we get a standard Acer warranty with the screen. The onsite Acer warranty is 3 years.
 
They clarified all gaming range are in fact 2 years and it's return to base.

Does that mean we have to pay the cost to send the screen back to them or do they pay the shipping cost?

I`ll probably purchase the Acer onsite 3 years warranty if it isn't included with the purchase of the screen from OcUK.

Thanks, is the time you have to get it 365 days from purchase of the item it's for or less time than that?

Unless I'm missing something, this seems like the wrong option. That option covers Desktop + Monitor, it's possible to get the Monitor only options much more cheaply.
