Advises for my Upgrade

Get the X570 Gaming Edge Wifi. It has a really good VRM....honestly :D

Ok joking aside, I would agree that a B550 board is all you need, so either the Gigabyte as mentioned, or any of the MSI B550 boards from the B550-A PRO upwards. They will all handle a 12 core with ease.

The X570 Tomahawk is a nice board, but if you don't need wifi then save some cash.

Well, I hope the Radeon RX 6800 XT will be available in January or February.
If these don't come, I don't know what I will do - there are no other alternatives.

Yeah, what should have been a nirvana period for hardware releases has unfortunately turned into a purgatory.

Do you have a card to get you setup and test what you have?

I will use my brother's RTX 3080 but only till January 10th when he will go back to Germany. With it.
I will only test the configuration - no intentions to use a GeForce.
