Afraid to run XMP profile on ram with 8700K. Gskill ram.

I don't go near XMP now. Puts way too much voltage up. On the X99A board I have now it puts the System Agent voltage at 1.35v... WTF!?

I have! I reduced it to 1.05! XMP profile seems completely fubar!

No it's not. They are setting these volts so even the worse of imc works. Of course works for how long I am not sure as these are ln2 imc voltages and even then on x99 c11 3200 only needed 1.25 tops.

Really, that's interesting to know but talk about over doing it! 1.35V!!!
