Age of Conan

I must have downloaded well over 1GB of patches now, another 200MB or so tonight as well so far.

Just run AoC again and it'll start downloading all available patches.

Says its up to date so im guessing it must be, only downloaded 2 patches.
 
Think I've downloaded 6 so far, about 1.3gb total.

Can't believe most of you lot are going PvE, you're all just big girls. There's no risk involved, only think you can loose is PvP Exp.

LOL, AOC PvE servers still have plenty of PvP opportunities, but unlike WoW PVP servers AOC PVP ones will be hardcore by the looks of it.

Takes the fun out of the game unless you are a PvP nut.

And enjoy ganking/being ganked.

Personally my experiences of WoW put me off free PvP as (especially once BGs were introduced) PvP basically descended to people ganking you and corpse camping you.

Took the enjoyment out of it.

If there's no risk then it's pansyass PvP for people who want to feel uber but would cry if they actually lost anything. ;)

LOL what kind of noob are you? So you've just spent a month gathering the gear for one of the raids, your riding up to the location. Boom you get charged and wtfpwned by some barbarian, he loots your corpse and within a minute you've lost a months work....

What sex are people choosing, i like the look of the Female Fatalities but i like the look of the male casting teqnique, cant choose, think its hat time.

The rules should be:

  • Murder system in place for player killers
  • Stat loss area once you have killed 4+ people, once you die you lose skills which need to be leveled back up.
  • The ability to work off player kills, to prevent stat loss - In game hours (40 hours per kill)
  • Full looting of corpses out with guard zones (with flag), full looting of corpses within a guard zone (town) but with a risk.
  • All murderers / aggressors corpses will have open loot rights to everyone inside towns and out.

If only a game had all that... Wait a sec... ;)

Damn good game, they should learn from it and adapt it for AoC.
