Airsoft ??

Yeah, am totally getting fed up with the bang rule at my site. Too many people just run into a room screaming bang bang while they are being shot then everyone looking confused on if they should take it or not.

There is some good guys who do take it without trouble, but sometimes others don't. We not meant to shoot people within 3m, but I can't stand it anymore, unless I got them dead rights where I can say bang and they know without a doubt they are dead, I will do it, but every other time and every time I clear a room, I will shoot.
 
Think I decided what light I want for my P90. Think am going to go with the Klarus XT20 XM-L2.

It's expensive and might look a little odd on my gun, but damn it, I want the brightest light at my site, I want their eyes to melt. :D

I'm going to pull the trigger on it after I made sure we don't have any light restrictions.

Also, what do people think of the Airsoft Claymores? Everyone at my site has grenades and sure, I will get some in time, but to be different, I was thinking of getting two Claymores, they be awesome in the rooms that we sometimes have to defend.
 
claymores are a waste of time, i could pee bb's harder. get a mad bull or king arms grenade launcher if you want to shower people.

also, a surefire torch would do the same job at half the price.

Some of the lads at my local have a surefire torch but it won't be as bright as the XT20.

Yeah I been looking at the King Arms GL, might get one, they pretty cheap.

G&G LR300 from Italy, about 30% cheaper than buying over here.

Grip is surprisingly nice, the rear of it did look like it might not be the most comfortable but it's actually quite good. Shame it doesn't have a working charging handle but that's not a huge deal.

Tombo, been a few days since you posted, had you any games with it over the weekend yet?

Is anyone using Osprey Body Armour? I'm about to get myself a set and going for 190/108 while my stats are 185/104. Should 190/108 be okay for me?
 
To answer your question, I haven't been to another game yet but I have put a fair few mags through it. Bit of an impulse buy this one.

Osprey looks ridiculous on the larger chaps, even sizes that fit end up looking like crop tops on anyone that isnt thin(ish) and 5'10"

Not trying to say anything (I've no idea what size you are) because generally it looks daft on big guys. Looks aren't usually what its used for though :p

P.s the ballistic collars are ridiculous, try and get the patrol collars if you can find them as they aren't as daft size
 
Strange I took the gun apart to clean it and notices there are two springs??







Took the smaller one out and left the long one and it still fires fine.

probbaly just make operation smoother and stop damage to the internal parts. may also increase (or decrease) fps, might be worth sticking it in a i forget the name of the seep measure things with an without an see the difference.

looking at after market springs most seem to be a single progressive/irregular pitch spring so i imagine the 2 has a purpose

googling suggests its so it takes less force to compress the first part (but keep the same over all power) so as not to put too much strain onje the first piston tooth.

so yeah taking the small spring out you've just reduced the pwoer by taking out the "hard" part.

Maybe he did that to increase the FPS after putting the CQB Bolt downgrade in. That bolt reduces the FPS from 350+ to around 290-310 (which imo is too low). So he must have put the smaller "harder" spring in to bump up the FPS a bit. At the moment it has the single long spring in it, I'll be getting a chrono on Thursday and will do some tests.

EDIT: Springs don't affect FPS in GBB, just the cycle speed.

Took the spring out and made no change to FPS. It must be there just to increase the ROF. I'm getting around 280fps with the CQB Bolt installed and Nuprol 3.0, going to get the Angry Gun Silencer to break the 300 barrier and get some range.

ah sorry didnt realism it was a ~GBB thought it was for an AEG, then it'll be for a different reason with there being no motor lol.
 
Haha yes it'd my first GBB gun other than my pistols. I was tempted to source out the original bolt from somewhere but my mates say it's risky for the summer time. I'm gonna stick with it and get the Angry Gun Silencer, that should get me to around 320 with the bonus of increased range.
