Airsoft ??

Bought a WE M&P today but got a weird issue with it. I have to "reload the gun" (can't use the other word for it but think of a male chicken) it whilst going through a magazine in order for the BBs to load into the chamber. I've tried lubing the inside of the gun and the spring of the magazine but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

it is a gass blow back gun not spring yeah?

using the right gas or co2?

try warming the mag up under your arm might be the gass is too cold/low pressure and not operating the mechanism.

try and video it :p

Yes it's gas blow back. I'm using WE Green Gas, I've filled the mag up and left it next to the radiator to warm up, will try it again in a bit.

its only a matter of time before these get banned when some douche flashes one in a car or stops off at a petrol station and has it slung over his shoulder, theres always one.

That's the reason you need a license for these relatively harmless toys but you don't need any license for potentially lethal air rifles because they don't look like the guns from TV.

after it fires does it stay locked "open" or closed but with no bb in the chamber?

Sat the magazine on a radiator for 20 mins then tried again. Went through the entire magazine no problem and also noticed a better Kick :). Still going to get some Nuprol though.

Airsoft has been going on since the 80s and not been banned, I think we're Ok.

This is why it's co2 for winter lol :p

Be fine in indoor sites like halomill in Huddersfield though

Its not a license its some database you are added to so you can buy from retailers. There is also more than 1 database.

All you need is proof that you skirmish with it so a photo of you at a site skirmishing is proof according to the laws.

its 3 times in over 2 months and you need forms from the site proving membership.

That is for UKARA which isn't law. Most retailers use UKARA which was started by firesupport.

All you need is a defense according to the actual laws so that is open to interpretation. For example when buying second hand, you just need a defense. An individual selling isn't bound by law to check UKARA. Its also not illegal to buy a rif, its illegal to sell one to someone without a defense or manufacture one yourself.

The rules are misunderstood a lot, and I think it's easy to see why. Even our boys in blue often aren't familiar with the law - even on deactivated 'real' firearms.

ahh fair enough

Precint 13 from F&O is back on for a few dates  I'm going Sunday 30th November. On another note I need some quick release pistol mag pouches, the ones made of plastic that you "clip" your mag in. It has to have a moller connection too to fit on my tac vest.

Gonne give this a good going:

New VFC G17, using it without a backstrap.

What is it? and whats the symptoms?

cyma m4 (Cheap and nasty but done me proud. :-) )

It was firing ok...then it sounded like it ran out of battery, like it didn't have enough juice to fully cycle. Then it went cold dead.

One of the marshals at site thinks it's the trigger not making full contact. Problem I have is that it only cost me £100 or so.

I'm torn to either repair it or buy a new AEG. (ICS G33).
