If your serious about buying wander down to somewhere like wolf armories or wherever has a decent rep these days and have a play see what feels right - friend of mine went through half a dozen because he liked the look of them ordered online then found he didn't like the feel of holding it.

yeah ill go to patrol base, and try a load of stuff out.

they have a few lever action ones (zoes gun from firefly, Randell special) that are so tempting if somewhat useles :p

" Please note not to stand straight in front of this thing when firing... " lol

EDIT: On the shotgun subject - once had (accidental friendly fire) someone unload one at point blank range into my back - even with an assault vest with soft armor I still felt that!

oh i've been hit by a trishot spring shotty at about 4m distance wearing just a tshirt (armour's for faggots in CQB :p)

whenever i had my shirt off it looked like the predator was about to shoot me :p

right given im mainly gonna be playing very CQ (killing house style place) what is the coolest smg/short carbine/short shoty?

lets face it cool counts i can mod internals/find a good version need to pic a model.

i would like as much metal as possible :p

the kriss super V is futuristic an cool, but a bit plasticy, i do quite like travors an bullpups in general) but the're a touch big.

I just never bothered to take the soft armour out the vest as it kept the shape better and didn't generally stop me noticing hits.

Construction quality/metal use will depend a bit on the manufacturer rather than individual guns as some are more inclined to use metal than others. I've personally favoured the MP5SD6 and secondarily the G36C for CQB.

Got the Angry Gun Silencer but it wobbles on my MP9. Tried tightening it a lot but no luck, think the flash hider of my MP9 has changed shape due to the B&T silencer being taken on and off all the time.

Went into my local store last night. Came out nearly buying a B&T mp5k with the fully metal RIS. Lovely looking bit of kit.

Something that I havent really budgeted for but it looks like i'll be handing cash over. eeek.

Well it does depend a bit as many real guns now are nearly all plastic on the outside so even a perfect replica will be largely plastic :p

I really like the look of the kriss think my heart is set.

Are there any good ones out there for them?

Yep :( they still making mags but they're extremely short supply.

The pdr-C looks cool but apparently is quite a poor replica.

Place I normally go is cbq and semi auto only. Would have been nice having a vector and a spare long barrel an silencer for a bit of plinking at home and the short barrel for skirmishing.

out of curiosity does anyone know of a GBB smg where the blow back feature is switchable?

ie for playing can have the blow back on but for just target shooting/practicing turn it off to save gas an wear?

No idea on that.

Ive just gone Gas. Was eyeing up a vetor on Zeroin last night but went for a mp7 instead.

MP7 kit doesn’t seem to be in short supply which makes me a little more comfortable. Last thing I want to do is drop +£400 odd and then realise that i cant get spares or additional mags without waiting for ages or having to beg, borrow, steal.
