Akasa A-62 AMD x6 *Zosma* build

Trust me your address. I'll give you my paypal to pay for postage.

I can guarantee the card is completely beyond repair. So let's get these rules set perfectly, the card is completely and utterly FUBAR.

It is, I believe an nVidia 7300LE

I have security marked the card so will check it is the correct one upon its return.

To pass as working it must be able to load crysis and also do a complete run of heaven 2.5 and get a score at the end.

Should this occur, I will give you £30 through paypal. OcUK'ers shall be the judge of whether a payment is worthy?

Agreed?

EDIT: Hovis must be included

describe the fault? no post? or is it like a failed water cool and completely burnt or exploded or sumink, im not going to pay you postage for something that is like "way" beyond repair, and if i think its worth it ill trust the details and my adress, and ppg the price of postage then? :)

well seeing as you spent well over £500 on watercooling bits on your W/C thread, i dont see £30 being a problem :)

how about starting a new thread for the challenge, as its really not part of the so called "build log".

maybe, depends on the fault tbh

what Hovis like the ermmm bread? sorry, Warburtons all the way!

No post. comp doesn't even acknowledge a graphics card there.

I'll be starting the build log when the next part arrives :p

Die! :p:D

done deal, wait, ill leefve it to Monday, if i get a £145 refund its definitely done, i dont want to be spending much more money, even if it is post untill i get a cpu ordered

by the way this shouldnt be "to far gone" to fix.
Artefacts means a card is having problems and there isf solder melting or with a micro fracture, that causes it image to be distorted, this can be also cussed buy dry solder with no or uneven pressure on the chip, this often happens just before the problem expands to not posting at all, this means the solder has yet again fractured, melted or completely lost contact.

The same thing relates to a xbox with e74, i was testing a xbox for a friend, when it got artefacts, we reset, it froze and then got the error. This was not posting as a Xbox, but showing error, and rrod is also the ame problem, it doesn't post, instead it displays error led's. But if you have the rrod were it doesn't boot, 90% of the time its fixed by a re flow, and liquid flux also helps this

The only thing I know is that the card won't be recognised or boot in ANY computer I have. That is all. It is in one piece. Haven't done anything to it apart from take the cooler off once. do you accept the challenge?

i am sure to if i get the refund from that "scammer", how much roughly will postage cost me? :)

so if the "scammer" doesnt refund you, youre not going to do it?

seems a bit of a misnomer surely, a scammer that refunds....... wouldn't that make them, not a scammer? lol

Good question...

I can see the demotivationals!

"Being Nigerian - you're doing it worng"

Anyone handy with photoshop that could knock this up?

Ill have to see, because if i dont get the refund or cpu, that would make him a scammer
and if i dont get te refund, ill have to look at the money i have got and the money im going to need for my cpu, so it wont be a sure thing

yup, anyway, when ive fixed it and proven it am i keeping the gpu? :)
and another thing that comes into this is weather i can afford to replace my amps sub after paying the postage

Lol please make this go ahead Cleecoo :p! Though you know that he's just going to stick it in the oven as soon as he gets it...

If not then he'd better post a new thread with detailed photos demonstrating how he knows jack all about most things hardware related but can fix dead gpus .

may well be a oven reflow, but i may get out the heatgun instead, depends weather im doing it at my house or my friends, because m oven is acient and wont keep a good temp so, and it may also be a component rather than the dry solder i need to fix, like ny friends we were planning on using a oven, but when we took the cooler off to find blown caps.

And even if i end up oven fixing it i do allot of things differently and will post a proper guid

this istn going to be a logg anyway, i just dont want it closed for the next few days, because after that i will make a proper build logg, when i get my cpu obv

So are you fixin my graphics card or not?:)

I would kinda like some time in witch i can decide weather i can afford the postage!
i still have no clue on what's happening with that guy on flee-bay annd right now i could afford to buy a phenom 720 or a 955, but after that in line there is a subwoofer replacement @ £22 and then on top of thaat i have to think about weeather i can afford it.

I HATE FIREFOX, it doesnt have a spell checker, and im using my brothers phenom x4 laptop.

They teach spelling in school - you should pay more attention  :p

i do, im dyslexic though :/
and i may buy a 955, but the thing is if i get one and then i find out im getting a zosma chip sent to me then i have to sell one, and for my budget a 720 from the clearance lines would probably be better, as a 955 would leeve me with -£10 and a 720 doesn't lack much performance, but... is it the 955 worth the extra £30 ? :)
