Alex Jones..

I'm no fan of Alex Jones, but to wipe his account from the 'net is not the right thing to do. If you don't like what he's saying DON'T WATCH IT!

exactly. and if you don't like that a company is allowing videos like his then don't pay to advertise on that platform. then that platform can lose money for hosting hate. good choice for that company, and then at least you can say your silly sound bite.

Not at all.

But that's nothing like saying Special Counsel Mueller is colluding with companies to get rid of Alex Jones platform, or saying the CIA set up Google.

Hows it not similar? People would have said the same thing before Snowden, "Don't listen to him, he's a conspiracy theorist" then look what happened. The CIA have hardly got a clean record, do they? I really don't find it too much of stretch to think the CIA tried to get their people near Google, when they realised the power of it, whether it was for good or bad, who knows, but you can't be that naive to think they don't have a relationship with that company.

I'm not...

They probably didn't fund them directly or influence them. But they WILL have access to the information on it, whether google knows about it or not. Infiltrating and gathering data is what agencies like this spend all their time doing.

The US, UK, etc stick to the rules as much as possible but when your dealing with countries like Russia who don't. There is also what's "legal" in the shadows.

See, that's a more nuanced and plausible take on things.

Snowden had evidence, wheres the evidence that the CIA made Google? Indeed why doesnt the lovely GOP stop these cretinous traitor intelligence agencies for stepping over freedoms? oh wait, because it's acceptable.

Come on now, why hasn't Trump the Great burned Langley to the ground?

Looks like it could make Jones even stronger, slight martyr syndrome though may not last long, record downloads of his app, but will his website be able to cope with all the traffic.

Hopefully there will be a landmark case against these companies who think they can dominate the market with their extremely biased perspectives.
