Alien Isolation Benchmark

Kaap has posted the settings to be used in the OP. So far no one has used the correct settings, but that's easily done as the highest settings (ie HDAO instead of SSAO and SMAA x2) are not always to the furthest right like usual.

Anyway I've copied Kaaps settings and will post a whole plethora of 1/2/3/4 card benchmarks at 1080P/1440P/4K later today.

Good work Kaap.

There was no settings to be used when I looked.

Yep apply the settings in game, then as Scotty said earlier add this to the steam shortcut -benchmark and it will use the settings you set in game to bench. Scored 112 at stock with my 290X when i tested this morning.

Ohh well, the game runs sweet as a nut with G-Sync and I had a quick 30 minute play and it scared the beejeezus out of me :D

Deffo going to give this a good play. Great work from The Creative Assembly"

Wow! how good does this game look :D and perform even at 1080p on single GPU. This one of the best looking games yet

Avg Frame Times - 9.61 Min- 5.71 Avg - 104.52 Max - 175.10 <------------ This correct how we looking at this result? Looks like it even gives you the avg frame times :D Haaaa

I believe you set them first in the games menu.

Yer, where it states "Min", that will be the minimum frames, where it states "Avg", that will be the average frames and where it states "Max", that will be the maximum frames.

The game developers changed the EXE name at the last minute, so despite there being a Aliens Isolation profile in 14.9 drivers it won't get activated unless you do the following. (this applies to crossfire only!)

1. Add the AI.EXE to CCC
2. Select use an AMD pre-defined profile.
3. Add the Alien Isolation profile
4. Play
....

I guess there's no way to get that profile going in 14.8? 14.9 really doesn't work well for me on the 295X2 with frequent THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER system crashes. I'll have to try 14.9.1 when I get home as well, I guess.

I get flickering with my crossfire even with the presets

Nope, you still have to mess about with CCC to get Crossfire working.
